Update 2/18:
Please register as soon as possible. In order to provide
everything we have planned for this event and make it as successful as
possible, we're requesting that everyone sign-up early. A few reasons:
-To secure the special rate we've been quoted for the canoe trip and
have adequate staffing provided, an accurate count of paddlers is
needed well in advance.
-We'll be printing everyone's ADVRider screen name on the back of the
shirts! How cool is that?!? Obviously, our shirt printer will need an
attendee list early so this can happen.
-Supply and staffing levels for The Roadhouse (chefs, bartenders, wait
staff, paramedics :) will be determined the number of participants.
(More staff/stuff=more better)
Deadline to register is April 1st, but sooner is better!

Where:
Rio Nido Roadhouse. Surrounded by redwoods, The Roadhouse boasts
a full bar (duh) with a great beer selection, large lawn for tents (no
need to ride after the day's activities), swimming pool (weather
permitting), rockin' juke box with outdoor sound, horseshoe pit and
secure bike parking. Located on Canyon Two Rd. Rio Nido, CA. +/- 20
miles northwest of Santa Rosa just off River Road (near Guerneville).
It is easily accessible from US101, or scenic Hwy 1 (from Jenner).

What:
Expect the same laid-back good times and general debauchery as the Redwood Rendezvous, only new and improved!

When:
May 3-4, 2008. Camping will also be available the night of
Friday, May 2 for those wishing to arrive early and/or participate in
the canoe trip.
Canoe trip??

Yeah, Canoe Trip! Saturday morning.
hey, the river is like, right there.
This is a leisurely paddle downstream on the Russian River that will
last approx. 3 hrs. The paddling party will depart the Roadhouse around
10:30am Saturday the 3rd, and will be bussed to a nearby location.
Those wishing to participate (highly recommended) should be at the
Roadhouse by 10am, or arrive Friday nite and camp. Friends at The
Russian River Pub will provide a pit stop and an opportunity for an
adult beverage (it will surely be noon somewhere) about 2/3 of the way
thru. All gear will be provided by a local outfitter, and the trip will
end just across the road from the Roadhouse with plenty of time left in
the afternoon for a day-ride, snacks or just lounging.

Miscellany:
-Camping Friday nite will be free of charge, however no meals will be
provided that nite or the following morning. The Roadhouse bar and
restaurant will be open for business late and open early during this
time to handle your needs. (Bloodys...stat!)
-Snackin' Saturday afternoon will be some sort of grill-it-yerself kinda thing (burgers, dogs, standard picnic fare).
-Dinner Saturday nite will be all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta, salad and
garlic bread. Breakfast will be provided Sunday morning. (The pizzas
are awesome, btw).
-You'll get a cool T-Shirt.
-We'll raffle-off some good stuff.
-A self-guided short and long loop day ride will be suggested.
-Trying to get an A/V presentation together from our friends returning from South America.
-You really should plan on doing the canoe trip...it's too much fun.

Deadline for registration: April 1st.
Due to the nature of the activities and venue, we are asking that everyone Please Pre-Register.

Breaks down like this:
Everything: Canoe trip, snacks and dinner Saturday, shirt, raffle, breakfast Sunday- $100.
Overnighter: Snacks and dinner Saturday, shirt, raffle, breakfast Sunday- $50.
Day Trip: (not recommended; you won't want to leave) Snacks and dinner Saturday, shirt, raffle- $30.
Camping Friday night will be free of charge for those who wish to arrive early and/or take the canoe trip.
